FECKENHAM First School has been praised after the results of its Ofsted report were published.
The inspector said it was a good school where children had positive attitudes and which was well led and managed by the headteacher, senior staff and governors.
The report stated overall standards were above average, particularly in core subjects, and the children were well taught.
Recommended areas for improvement included continuing to raise standards in ICT, improving outdoor play provision for Early Years and to raise expectations of the way children prepare their work.
