MOTORSPORT: Arley speed king Ross Danby has been collecting plenty of silverware on the national trials scene.
The 14-year-old regularly gave adults a run for their money in Midlands club events but his success has taken him all over England this season.
Bewdley Motorcycle Club's Danby was a runner-up in the ACU British Youth Championship 125cc class after eight rounds of fierce competition.
And the pupil at Cleobury Mortimer's Lacon Childe School clinched the Youth Motorcycle Sports Association B class.
After bagging five wins and a third place over six rounds finishing in Matlock, Derbyshire, he now plans to upgrade to A level.
Danby's father Mike said: "I just want Ross to keep on enjoying it. He doesn't ride so much locally now as he is after the bigger national events."
The teenager's other achievements include winning at the Scarborough DMC two-day trial for the second year running.
He also tasted success at the Heart of England trials and the Breidden Hills championship in Shropshire as well as a third place at the Michelin trials.
