HOCKEY: An early missed penalty flick proved costly for Chaddesley Corbett as they lost 6-3 at home to Oswestry in West Midlands League Division Two.
Chaddesley could not capitalise on a bright start and lazy defending enabled Oswestry to lead 2-0.
Early in the second half, Chaddesley drew level with goals from Tom Boden and Matt Boden.
But defensive frailties, with 36 goals conceded in seven matches, came back to haunt them.
Chaddesley fell 6-2 behind before M Boden added his second goal with seconds remaining.
They need to win their next match at fellow strugglers Newtown on Saturday.
