ATHLETICS: Amazing Feet members finished 20th out of 38 teams in the gruelling High Peak Relay in Derbyshire on a 35.2-mile, 10-leg event.

Brian Humphries ran the 2.46-mile leg four in 14 minutes 19 seconds for second place and the 3.81-mile leg 10 in 20-56 for sixth position.

Other runners: Craig Lewis (leg one, 3.81 miles, 17th, 29-44), Michael Heasman (leg two, 2.5 miles, 38th, 23-39), John Amos (leg thee, 5.27 miles, 14th, 35-09; leg nine, 2.5 miles, 14th, 14-40), Richard Baker (leg five, 3.54 miles, 23rd, 26.59), Mark Pearman (leg six, 3.54 miles, 17th, 22-15), Fay Cox (leg seven, 2.46 miles, 27th, 18-50), Paul Hancock (leg eight, 5.27 miles, 35th, 42-42).

Corin Elliott smashed his personal best at the Gosport Half Marathon, clocking one hour 48-11.

In Amazing Feet's annual handicap event, Humphries ran 20-41 to finish sixth and take the fastest man trophy over the 5.2km red route at the Wyre Forest Visitor Centre.

Faye Evans managed 26-35 for fourth and the fastest lady trophy, while Simone Buzink was first lady home in 35-57.

Mike Warren collected the first man home award in 37-03 and second position.
