ROWING: Stacey Lewis was the highest achiever out of 22 Bewdley Rowing Club project oarsome members at the British Indoor Championships in Birmingham.
Lewis, of St Anne's Middle School, finished eighth in the 12-year-old girls' age group with a time of four minutes 21 seconds for 1,000 metres on Saturday.
Four others joined her in the top 20 of the section.
Bewdley's project oarsome consists of children from St Anne's, Wribbenhall Middle and St John's Middle.
There were four other junior squad members competing and Loran Ward was fifth in the women's 30 to 34 age group.
