DARTS: Joint league leaders Bliss Gate and Red Lion kept the pressure on each other with victories in the Banks's Bewdley League.
Brian Willets and Mat Sheenan wrapped up a tough win over Great Western for Gate.
Sheenan had won the opening game but then Western's Pete Carter convincingly beat old team-mate Rich Adams.
But Gate raced into a commanding lead and held off a mini fight-back inspired by Dean Johnson.
Lion's Anthony Morris and Mick Reading had to throw to save the match against bottom-three side Black Boy.
They drew level before Neal Harris and Paul Mills secured a victory for the high-fliers.
Boy's Rich Babb, Chris Pointon and Dave Vaughan were earlier on top form to put under-par Lion in trouble.
Fringe man Ben Rochford has finished on a bull in each of his three games after helping Waggon and Horses B whitewash Bowling Club B 7-0.
Cock and Magpie A's form has dropped off and they lost against Rising Sun A who claimed a first win in three games with the help of Rob Jones' 103-out shot.
Neal Franklin hit a 78-out shot for Cock and Magpie B to defeat Rising Sun B as they continued their climb up the table and Bowling Club A beat Waggon and Horses A 5-2 in the other match.
