BOWLING: The Aces came up trumps with a total of 16 points from two games to move them half-way up the Gilt Edge Short Mat League table.
Both triples bowled well to win 22-6 against Dire Straits and then did even better to defeat Stourport 23-3 with Tony Carter, Alan Smith and Alf Giles only dropping one shot.
Crusaders just edged out Squirrel 18-14 after both teams won a half in a close encounter.
Consistent Brintons thrashed Wribbenhall 12-1 in the first half to eventually triumph 20-8 and stay in the top five.
