BELOW-par Wyre Forest Brintons were held to a disappointing 1-1 home draw by West Midlands League Division One South basement boys Ledbury Town Reserves.
The visitors had the best of a poor first half and took the lead when Jamie James' shot from close range beat keeper Mark Fisher.
Forest Brintons went close to scoring when Lewis Pountney's shot was saved by Lee Parks and their lack of composure in front of goal was evident in the second period.
Substitutes Jack Wassell, Tom Wassell and John Griffin replaced Stuart Brogan, Lee Jordan and John Thorpe in a triple switch.
The home side avoided an embarrassing defeat when Andy Oakes scored the equaliser.
And Forest Brintons could have won the match but Griffin's cross went agonisingly close with no-one in position to tap the ball home.
In the dying minutes, Forest Brintons' Sam Pountney and Ledbury's David Morris were both sent off for violent conduct.
The players are asked to meet at the Hare and Hounds pub at 12.30pm for Saturday's game at Reality Sports.
