Bredon 0, Evesham Utd Ladies 4
EVESHAM netted three times in the opening 15 minutes to put Sunday's game beyond the gallant hosts.
Sam Jones got down well to save from Heather Lang in an early Bredon attack before the Robins took the lead after seven minutes. Tori Southern received the ball from Nicky Bond and ran at the defence before easily netting her 12th of the season.
A minute later Bond increased the advantage after running clear and placing her shot over the advancing goalkeeper.
A mistake by the last line of defence presented Lisa Tustin with an easy chance to make it 3-0.
Evesham were enjoying most of the possession and Charlotte Benson-Wilson's shot from distance was tipped on to the bar by the replacement keeper.
Two minutes into the second half Jones was quickly out to the edge of the penalty area to save at the feet of Laura Nash, and ten minutes later, Bredon created their best chance of the game that was wasted.
Evesham were soon back on the attack and Bond's shot rattled the crossbar with Danielle Chinn unable to make the most of the rebound.
The Bredon keeper produced a fine save from Southern but she was helpless four minutes later when Bond, receiving the ball from a throw-in, worked her way into the box and hit the target to move into double figures for the season.
Southern and Benson-Wilson were denied by fine stops as Evesham ran out comfortable winners to consolidate third spot in the league.
They are in league action again on Sunday when they entertain Worc-ester City at Common Road (2pm).
