AN Australian ex-pat, who lives in the Vale, is confident that the Wallabies will hold on to the Rugby World Cup when they meet England in the final.
Dave Feeney, aged 34 and from Charlton, believes the Aussies will have the edge when the teams clash on Saturday. "I think we are going to win by seven points," he said. "We have found our form and are ready for a big finish. I might end up having to eat humble pie - but I doubt it."
His wife Denise, who was born in England and met Dave while travelling in Australia, said she reluctantly agreed with her husband. Mr Feeney is a sales executive at Listers Garage in Stratford. The match kicks off in Sydney at 9am (our time).
