NINE members travelled to Oakham Farm, Loxley on Sunday, when they fished round ten of the Crown Inn sponsored league.
The unusual autumnal weather failed to produce the larger fish from being caught however, fishing peg two, Ron Williams landed a carp weighing in at five pounds to run out a clear winner with a weight of 15.4.0.
Frank Lake (10.12.0) on peg 5 was second with Way-ne Panting (4.6.0) third from peg nine.
Members who have booked in are asked to be at Manor Farm Leisure for 7.45am on Sunday for the draw at 8.
Evesham Jubilee Society
SATURDAY'S Open match at the Fishery saw plenty of fish in the nets and Tim Hunt running out the winner ahead of Gary Seadon.
The next Open match is on Saturday, November 29 with the draw at 9am. Book in by ringing 01386 41273.
Sunday's members' match at The Naight resulted in John Davis taking top spot in the Avon Shield Series.
The winner netted five tench and a roach for a winning net of 17.14.0 on a day when the other competitors all struggled.
Members are in action on Sunday when the Escot-Elsley Cup is the prize in a Severn Shield Series contest at Beauchamp Court.
The draw takes place at 7.45am at the Pixham end of the park. Members uncertain of directions are asked to meet at Merstow Green at 7am.

Evesham WMC
AFTER a hard overnight frost most members struggled at Cropthorne but Stuart Robinson had an excellent weight of roach for 8.4.0.
In second place was Phil Preston (7.10.0) with again roach the main catch and Graham Williams (2.12.0) was third.
The next match is the Fur and Feather at the Jubilee Fishery, meet at the old post office for 7am departure. The draw is at 7.30.
