A PACK of Girl Guides face closure at Christmas unless new leaders can be found to run the Rainbows unit at Broadwaters in Kidderminster.
The town's divisional commissioner Sue Clifton said they were desperately trying to save the troop of five to seven-year-olds which meets weekly at the St Oswald's Church Centre.
"The current leaders are leaving at Christmas and we will try to keep it going with helpers from other areas, but we don't know if that will be possible yet," she said.
The Kidderminster division is appealing for more helpers to run packs in the town and surrounding villages and manned a promotional stand in the Swan Centre last Saturday.
Mrs Clifton said people were needed to help out, not necessarily to take charge.
"We're always looking for extra pairs of hands and, in return, they will get a great deal of fun.
Anyone interested in helping out with the group should contact Mrs Clifton on 01562 745870.
