CRUEL thieves snatched three children's bikes - just weeks after they were replaced following a similar raid.

Raiders cut through chains to take the bikes from the back garden of the house in Poplar Road, Kidderminster.

The bikes - valued at £450 - were looted between 8pm on Friday and 7.30pm on Saturday.

Three bikes had been stolen from the property just weeks before, police spokeswoman Joanne Hammond said.

The first bike taken in the latest incident was a BMX charcoal coloured stunt bike with the wording "UFO" down the tube and the handlebar. The bike has a 20 inch frame and a black saddle.

The second bike was a Chromium BMX stunt bike with "Slammer" written on the tube in black and red writing.

The third bike was a terracotta coloured mountain bike with 21 gears and the words "Saracen" written on the tube and crossbar.

Mrs Hammond said: "It is better to keep bikes in a secure shed which should be locked and the bikes chained up inside."
