CHURCHGOERS are to enjoy a fundraising feast of tunes at St John's Church in Wolverley courtesy of the Gentleman Songsters Male Voice Choir.
The Pre-Christmas concert on Friday, November 28, will raise cash for the church and include sherry, shortbread and songs from the shows.
John Bowles, concert secretary for The Friends of St John's Church, said he expected the annual singing spectacular, which starts at 7.30pm, to attract 200 to 250 people.
He added the Gentlemen Songsters were back by popular demand for the third or fourth time - and followed in the footsteps of Kidderminster Male Choir whose performance at their last pre-Christmas concert raised more than £1,200.
He said the group would sing a mixture of songs ranging from classic show songs to Christmas carols.
"It's hard to say exactly what the money will be used for because we find all sorts of things like redecoration and building repairs to do," he said.
