FORMER Kidderminster Harriers trialist Narada Bernard will be back at Aggborough on Saturday after joining Torquay this week.
The left-sided full-back or midfielder, who failed to earn a deal with Harriers despite several useful displays in friendlies, has been signed by Leroy Rosenior on a short-term deal.
Bernard, a former Arsenal and Bournemouth player, played eight games for Woking after leaving Harriers under Ian Britton.
Rosenior said: "He did enough last week for me to want to have a longer look at him and so he is here for the next month."
Torquay recovered from three defeats in a row by beating struggling Cheltenham 3-1 at home on Saturday.
The victory arrived courtesy of goals from top scorer David Graham (two) and another ex-Harriers trialist, Alex Russell.
Graham has scored 11 goals and attracted the interest of Devon rivals Plymouth recently.
Keeper Arjan Van Heusden (back) is expected to be fit for the weekend along with defenders Steve Woods (leg) and Reuben Hazell (calf).
Midfielder Jason Fowler will be available again after a one-match ban for picking up five yellow cards but Martin Gritton and David Woozley are still out.
Torquay were knocked out of the FA Cup in the first round earlier this month by Conference side Burton who included Harriers centre-half Adam Willis on loan.
Rosenior's side had previously lost 1-0 at Doncaster and crashed 4-0 at lowly Boston.
Their only away wins have been at Northampton (1-0) on the first day of the season and 2-0 at Yeovil.
And they have lost all three Football League games at Aggborough so far without even scoring a goal.
Torquay have extended the loan of left-back Brian McGlinchey from Plymouth into a third and final month.
Southampton defender Mike Williamson has returned to the Premiership club after a successful temporary spell at Plainmoor.
