ROCK groups from Pershore High School held a charity gig to support the hospice that cared for one of their teachers who died earlier this year.
Annabel Brennan died at St Michael's Hospice, in Hereford, during the summer holidays, and bands from the Station Road school put on a fund-raising gig for the hospice.
The music - a mixture of rock and heavy metal - began at 7pm at Pershore High, and one band from outside the school also joined the concert.
"The pupils wanted to do something for the hospice and as they love music, a gig was the obvious idea," said headteacher Clive Corbett.
