A large audience enjoyed a concert given last Friday in aid of Macmillan Cancer Relief, Colwall. The evening consisted of songs, piano solo, string quartet and readings all with the theme of the seasons. Those taking part were Mary Evans, Kate Stock, Marion Pulson, Susan Humphrey, Margaret Fox-Mills, Barbara Dutton, Jenni Griggs, Trish Hockett, Phil Probert, David Humphrey, Mike Pulson, Ben Cooper, Gerry Hogston, Steve Hockett, Pam Palmer, Carl Attwood and Mary Brown. The evening was arranged by Mary Evans and Gerry Hogston. Over £500 was raised during the evening.
A shopping trip has been arranged to visit Cribbs Causeway, near Bristol, on Sunday (November 23). Tickets at £4 are available from Liz Hallam on 541148.
