ON Thursday (November 27) from 9.30am to 3pm, Eldersfield Lawn School will be holding an open day when everyone is warmly invited to come and look round the school and see the children's work. This includes one of their projects on the continent of Australasia, which has inspired the children with wonderful work.
The children from years three and four were joined by the year three and four children from Pendock School for an Egyptian Day, making ancient Egyptian jewellery and artwork. They were then held mesmerised by a puppeteer who told them the story of Satna and the Book of Thoth.
The whole school has been filling shoe boxes for the charity Operation Christmas Child and so far have collected over 60 boxes.
