MALVERN Hills College will be welcoming would-be students to an open evening next week.

The college has released details of its courses for next spring and will be enrolling during the week beginning on Monday (November 24).

New this year is a two-year National Diploma in creative theatrical and media make-up artistry and three BTECs in art and design - first diploma, national diploma and national certificate - which until now have only been available at Malvern's sister campus at Evesham.

The open day is on Wednesday (November 26), from 4pm to 8pm.

College head Lynn Phillips said: "It's really for anybody and everybody to have a look and talk to tutors and get some advice."

Full-time courses are available in areas like beauty therapy, hairdressing, childcare and computing and there are a host of part-time course covering areas like computers, keep fit, modern languages, first aid and holistic therapies.

In the leisure and interests section, there is everything from bridge and genealogy to theology and wine-tasting.

There will be a further open evening on Thursday, February 26, and a college open day on Saturday, July 3.
