THE musical talents of soprano Sue Black and friends will help a church celebrate a landmark anniversary.
The event is part of the centenary celebrations at All Saints' Church in Wells Road, Malvern, and takes place on Friday, November 28, at 8pm.
The musical celebration comes at the end of a busy month for All Saints, which included a visit by the Bishop of Worcester on November 2 and the hosting of the deanery confirmation service on November 16.
Proceeds from the concert, which will feature a mixture of light pieces, will support the Acorns Children's Hospice appeal.
The hospice will provide care for life-limited children in the Three Counties and is being built by Malvern firm Speller-Metcalfe.
Project manager Mike Cartledge said the building work had got off to a flying start, with the first bricks being laid for the adolescent wing this week.
Mr Cartledge said on-going fundraising was crucial, both to find the last £1 million of the £4 million appeal and to help finance running costs.
Tickets for the concert at All Saints' Church are £3, from 01684 567651 or 563346.
