I'VE never seen any giants in Malvern who might get shelter from the wind and rain, in the new bus shelter.

I was stood at the stop waiting for the bus and the wind was blowing so hard, the metal board outside Connell's the estate agents was almost toppling over and I thought when we get the new shelter that was promised, it'll have sides in to be sure.

So could I humbly suggest that the roof be lowered for ordinary mortals and sides be added to match the width of the roof.

We've had a propped-up old concrete roof with supports that people have been able to manoeuvre by without damage to anyone for how many years is it?

I came up to the library on November 5 to see a workman setting to, I thought to right the wrong, to lower the roof and put sides on. He did make the seats better but that was all.

Can we expect the councillors will with red faces and all concede that they did make a faux pas?
