I read with interest of the proposed Malvern Link Common bridleway/cycleway. I, for one, would welcome the route across the common and feel sure it would be well used by the cycling public.
This route would offer a safe alternative to the busy Pickersleigh Road-Worcester Road junction, not only for cyclists making for the railway station but also children cycling to school.
I am confident the council would be environmentally-sympathetic in the construction of the path keeping its visual impact to a minimum.
In my opinion, any road project that encourages an increase in cycle commuting and safer routes for all, can only be a good thing.
I wish the council success in all its future cycle routes in the town.
