RICHARD Tomkins is set for a return to action for Bromsgrove Rovers tomorrow after three weeks out following a horrific collision against Weston in the FA Trophy.
The left winger, knocked cold for 20 minutes in the incident, is in the frame to replace Danny Scheppel who is a doubt with knee ligament damage.
Rovers make the trip to Swindon Supermarine tomorrow (3pm) and victory could hoist them to third in the Dr Martens Western Division if results go their way.
Manager George Rooney is delighted with his side's form which has netted two wins in five days against highly-rated Rugby United and Stourport Swifts but is taking nothing for granted.
"You can never be complacent as Danny Scheppel's injury shows," said Rooney.
"We will give him time to settle down but if he doesn't make it we might switch Marcus Jackson to the right and bring Richard Tomkins in on the left."
Rooney is anticipating another pitched battle at Swindon where his side will have to earn the right to play.
"It's going to be another difficult surface but we've got to adapt and work hard to impose ourselves," he said.
"These days fitness and pace have de-skilled the game and you have to scrap just to have 10 or 15 minutes of quality."
