THANK you for your article (Evening News, Saturday November 15) regarding County Councillor Bob Bullock's comments on so much foul language on TV these days.
What a shame it is that so many otherwise intelligent people cannot express themselves without using foul and obscene language.
Surely the English language has more than enough breadth to cover our feelings and emotions without resorting to such offensive terms.
Councillor Bullock is right. It is time to take a stand and to clean up our TV so that we can again enjoy good clean humour and films that do not constantly offend.
KEN FRANKS,
Worcester.
