THE lure of Julie Andrews as dressed as a nun combined with a sing-song has proved a winning combination.
Singalong-a-Sound of Music at Huntingdon Hall, Worcester, on Friday, November 28, is already a sell-out.
The audience will get the chance to dress up themselves and sing along to the tunes as the 1965 film plays.
Meanwhile, on Thursday (November 27), the hall will host a concert by guitarist John Williams and Quimantu, featuring material from the latter's new album, Caral. The concert is at 8pm and tickets are £16.
On Saturday, November 29, Independent Ballet Wales will present The Tempest. The performance is at 7.30pm and tickets are from £9 to £12.
Huntingdon Hall is also managing the Swan Theatre, Worcester, and on Monday there will be a fundraising event for the venue from 7.30pm. Visitors will be able to bid for lots at an auction and for more information contact 01905 611427.
