A MAN who filmed a young girl in the nude and sexually abused her faces a prison sentence.
Christopher Cary, aged 36, of St Alban's Close, Worcester, was convicted by a jury of taking indecent photographs and four counts of indecent assault.
Judge Michael Mott granted him bail while a pre-sentence report is prepared but warned that he was in a serious position.
Worcester Crown Court heard that the victim, now a teenager, was molested up to six years ago. She was filmed with a video camera in 1999.
The offences - which happened outside the county - came to light in April this year when the girl made a complaint to police, said Mark Wall, prosecuting.
Tickling led to fondling and Cary then made the girl give him oral sex, the jury heard.
She told police that Cary confessed to her that he knew she would never be able to forgive him.
Cary, a man with no previous convictions, claimed the girl's allegations were a product of her vivid imagination.
