A 17-year-old youth denied murdering a work colleague when he appeared before a judge at Worcester Crown Court.
The teenager pleaded not guilty to the murder of Moses Makooba at Sainsbury's distribution centre in Warndon, Worcester, on Monday, August 25, this year.
The victim died from a brain injury.
The defendant, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, lives in Birmingham. He faces trial by jury next year and will appear at the crown court for another hearing on January 19.
Judge Michael Mott remanded him in custody.
