CYCLISTS have been warned to be on the alert after a bike was stolen from outside a shop.
A boy had left the bike outside Riverview News in Stourport Road, Bewdley, while he went inside.
A passer-by saw a youth climb off a J-reg lorry and take the bike, riding off down an alleyway towards the Black Boy pub.
The lorry went in the same direction after the incident, which happened between 3pm and 3.15pm on Saturday, November 22.
The bike was a Saracen Oxide child's bike, valued at £300, with a red frame, black pedals and silver front forks.
Police have warned cyclists to lock up their bikes whenever they dismount.
Witnesses should call 08457 444888 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
