DIRECTOR of football Jan Molby today revealed he is preparing an 'arrivals and departures' timetable in his bid to lift Kidderminster Harriers further away from the Division Three relegation zone.

He has dropped a strong hint that the scheme could well be in operation ahead of Saturday's trip to Boston United.

The former Liverpool star suggested that a number of players could well be on their way out of Aggborough, while at least one new signing is a possibility before the weekend.

Molby has made no secret of the fact that an experienced midfielder with powerful leadership qualities, together with 23-year-old Danish striker Jasper Christiansen, are his top targets, although he is not ruling out boosting 'other areas' of Harriers squad.

"It could be a defender, a midfield player or it could be a wide man," said Molby, who added: "We have people in mind in all those and we've just got to weight up what is the best option for us financially."

He also indicated he wouldn't rule out players exiting the club this week, saying: "I've been here five weeks now and I'm not going to make a massive song and dance about what's going to happen and what's not going to happen, but I certainly wouldn't rule out departures."

Molby says his moves for a midfield general and Christiansen could take a while longer yet, but he's determined to capture a player with the right leadership credentials.

He said: "People sometimes get the wrong impression of what a leader is. A lot think Danny Williams is a leader, but I don't think he is. He needs to be led by somebody and we'll bring somebody in.

"We have got a person in mind and I feel confident we can bring him in, but it will have to be a couple of weeks before he arrives."

Regarding Christiansen, he said: "If we can agree personal terms, which we're close to, we'd love to bring him over as soon as we can."Molby admitted to being disappointed by last weekend's 2-1 home defeat against Torquay United and said: "After our win at Rochdale I tried to warn people that there would be defeats from now until the end of the season.

It's disappointing that we keep losing at home because without winning home games it's going to be tough."
