ONE step at a time is the motto being adopted by Worcester City manager John Barton following their return to winning ways against Weston.
The Mark Owen inspired victory at the weekend leaves the St George's Lane club just three points off second place but Barton is keeping his feet firmly on the ground.
"We can't get caught up in any talk of aspirations after just one win, it is -- as it has been for a few weeks now -- a case of keeping your head and just taking things one step at a time," he said.
"Our recent run has been well documented in terms of points from games but there are a few other teams that have had a similar run too.
"Crawley Town, everybody's choices for title contenders, mine included and the best side we have played this year, got hammered at Hinckley and beaten at home by Dorchester on Saturday.
"So it can happen to anyone and we have to just stick in there, concentrate on our own situation and get that right because everybody keeps pulling each other down at the moment."
