A WOMAN had her arm grabbed and was threatened by a man after offering him a light for a cigarette in a Redditch pub.

The assault happened just before 9pm on Saturday in the Kings Arms pub.

The man, who spoke with a slurred Midlands accent, approached the woman and asked for a light for a cigarette before attacking her.

Shortly afterwards, he left the pub with a woman but was immediately seen behaving suspiciously outside.

The man was white, unshaven, aged in his late 30s, about 5ft 7ins tall with brown eyes and very short, possibly shaved dark hair.

He was wearing light trousers, a dark bomber jacket and a cream baseball cap, which he later changed for a dark woolly hat which he got out of a rucksack he was carrying.
