FECKENHAM pulled off another stunning Midland Combination Premier result - despite the absence of seven key players giving manager Lee Adams a major headache before kick off.
Top striker Brian Powell, Gary Beedling, Mark Davis, John Oliver, James Harper, Stuart Douglas and Ian Edwards were all ruled out late on due to a combination of injuries and unavailability.
It saw Adams draft in reserve team youngsters Tim Harris, Matt Cooke, Dave Sanders and Chris White who all did the club proud with solid displays against a team lying just three places below Feckenham in sixth before kick off.
"I was devastated before the match," admitted Chambers. "But we brought the reserve players in and they all had the right attitude.
"We're a club where the first and second team mix well and it's good to know that we have players there who can come in and do well. I've always said that if any reserves do well, they will get their chance."
Millers keeper Dave Gorlan was forced into an early triple save before Feckenham's Kevin Leggat broke the deadlock just 20 seconds after the break.
White hit a second four minutes later with Dave Unit then taking advantage of a poor clearance to run a goal in from half-way. Leggat completed the scoring.
Adams is hopeful of having Oliver, Beedling, Powell and Edwards all returning to the side at lowly Brocton on Saturday although the trio of Davis, Harper and Douglas are still likely to be unavailable.
