Headless Cross Ladies 14

Racing Club Hibs 1

HEADLESS Cross Ladies recorded their biggest win of the season with this 14-1 drubbing of Hibs.

They got off to a perfect start taking the lead after 10 mins after Teresa Boddington fed fellow striker Sarah Day to round the keeper and slot the ball home.

Day scored her second after again being put in by Boddington who then added her name to the score sheet after picking up a weak goalkick and shooting into the bottom corner.

Boddington then made it 4-0, Dee Reade and Day combining for the striker to fire first time high into the net.

Cross continued to dominate with Rebecca Watson scoring with a header from Reade's corner before Boddington grabbed her hat-trick goal after more good work from Day.

Another Day cross allowed Boddington to score her fourth before Reade made it 8-0 just before half-time with a header.

Watson struck her second early after the restart before Mandy Hill set up Day for her hat-trick and Cross's tenth.

Racing scored a consolation after some sloppy defending but the home side bounced straight back for Denese Markham to score from a Alison Wayly free-kick.

The goals continues to flow with a fourth for Day, a hat-trick strike for Watson and a final effort from Markham in the final minute, firing in off the post.

Manager Rob Auld said it had been another comfortable victory with Racing unable to cope.

Headless Cross meet local rivals Redditch Utd at the Abbey Stadium on Sunday (ko 2pm)

Valley Stadium tenants Blues Ladies won their relegation battle at Tranmere 2-1 on Sunday.
