DEAN Roberts' four-goal salvo blasted Malvern Town into the second round of the Worcestershire FA Senior Urn as they beat West Midlands League Premier Division rivals Brierley Hill 7-4 after extra-time at Langland Stadium last night.
The visitors took the lead in the 16th minute but just ten minutes later Roberts equalised and in the 30th minute Luke Willetts put Malvern in front.
But just before half-time, Brierley Hill equalised.
The second period was a tighter affair, but Roberts put Town back in front in the 63rd minute.
With just four minutes remaining, however, the visitors equalised to send the tie into extra time.
The second period saw Town's superior fitness start to tell, and Roberts once again restored Mal-vern's lead to give him his hat trick.
The tireless Rik Halion then got in on the act with goals in the 108th and 113th minute, but the visitors were not quite finished and when Nightingale had a rush of blood in the 116th minute, Brierley Hill notched their fourth goal of the evening.
Malvern were not finished and in the 119th minute Scott Morris and Roberts combined for the latter to complete the scoring.
