BARNT Green Spartak's three-week break from action has not halted their domination of Midland Combination division one.

GJ Singh's side, who hammered Fairfield Villa 7-1 in their last match on November 1, picked up where they left off to win 6-1 at Wilmcote S&S last Saturday.

Free-scoring Spartak signalled their intent inside ten minutes with a Shaid Akbar 25-yard curling shot and Reckey Carter's strike.

Spartak failed to add to their tally until five minutes after the break when Delroy Brown converted a penalty.

Wilmcote pulled it back to 3-1 through Tom Coles before Karrol Hamber scored with his first as a substitute to restore the visitors' three-goal advantage.

Carter to made it 5-1 on 73 minutes and Delroy Brown completed the scoring eight minutes from time.

Spartak entertain to last season's landlords Kenilworth Town on Saturday (2.45pm).
