DEAR EDITOR - May we, the Poppy Appeal of the Royal British Legion Bromsgrove Branch, thank all who helped in this year's appeal, house-to-house, street collectors who braved the bitterly cold weather and to everyone who helped to raise a provisional total of £9,261.07, with more to come in for wreaths.
Also we would like to thank the anonymous gentleman who gave a cardboard box of money to the two army cadets. Would the lady from Birmingham Road who said she could get a brass band for our 2004 Remembrance Parade please contact me on 0121 445 6755.
