A BUNCH of budding amateur dramatists will be helping folk get festive with a rib-tickling seasonal show.

The Fairbourne Dodders will be staging their annual pantomime at the Dodford Village Hall, in Priory Road, from Wednesday, December 3 until Saturday 6.

It is a traditional family pantomime, penned by professional playwright Norman Robbins, and features the tale of the arboreal tots as well as Robin Hood and his Merry Men.

Group spokeswoman Cheryll Stewart said: "The show is lots of fun and we would urge people to come along and see it.

"Three new faces will be playing principle parts on the village hall stage this year."

The Fairbourne Dodders have been established for more than 20 years, bringing together the villagers from Fairfield, Bournheath and Dodford.

Shows will start at 7.30pm each night and there will also be a Saturday matinee kicking off at 2.30pm.

Tickets are available on 01527 833608 or 01527 877889.
