STAFF at an animal rescue centre are hoping to find a loving owner for a dog that has never had a home.
Harold, a black and white lurcher, has spent his entire life in rescue centres. Now staff at the Blue Cross animal centre in Bromsgrove are hoping that someone will step forward to give the two-and-a-half-year-old a happy Christmas.
Harold was rescued from the streets as a six-month-old puppy and taken in by the Blue Cross. Because he doesn't know any different, he now believes that the kennels are his home and that the centre's staff are his family.
"We don't believe this poor dog has ever known a home," said Morag Rooney, the deputy manager of the Blue Cross Centre. "It is so sad because he is the most loving, adorable dog and would make a wonderful pet."
Anyone wishing to offer Harold a good home should call the centre on 0121 453 3130.
