KINGSLEY College has been helping a TV programme inform the public about the weather in this part of the county.
Last term, Carlton Television asked schools in the area if they would be interested in becoming "Metmonitors".
The schools collect data for the forecasters to look at in order to get a more detailed picture of weather systems in the area.
Kingsley's geography department volunteered for the scheme as all age groups at the college study the weather and climate.
Each day, students and staff record wind speed, temperature, cloud cover and rainfall.
The results are then e-mailed to the studios where the forecasters analyse them and compare it to their pictures and results.
