AT the November meeting at The Holly Bush, Alcester, Lynda Kettle inspired members with her energy and positive attitude to life.

Lynda talked about the clothing mistakes in her wardrobe and the guilt involved when buying clothes. Having to learn about what doesn't suit you as well as what does was vital and she gave tips such as light colours making one part of the body appear larger whilst darker shades made them smaller and how wearing one colour, albeit different tones, from head to foot, can make a person seem taller.

The face is a person's first feature that is noticed and this can be enhanced by the imaginative use of scarves.

Lynda demonstrated on various members how different scarves tied in a variety of ways could improve appearance dramatically, effectively making one to look like a top under a suit.

She brought along an extensive selection of scarves, pins and broaches along with beautiful jewellery and evening bags for experimentation and purchase.

Sheila Tait won the raffle.

The Christmas meal will be at The Green Dragon, Sambourne, on December 2 at 7.30 for 8pm.
