AN increase in output of nearly 60 per cent at the Central Works of Needle Industries, Studley, in the 10 months since January is reported in the current issue of the works magazine.
The increase is attributed to two factors - the addition of 40 people to the production personnel and an average rise in individual productivity, which has had the effect of changing the department's operational loss each month to a profit.
