Swashbuckling pirates were this year's theme for Worcestershire County Council's Social Services finance staff, who dressed up to help raise more than £500 for Children In Need.
The County Hall staff donned their eye patches, hooks and parrots and walked around the building with large buckets encouraging their colleagues to give generously.
Cakes, books and a tombola were also on sale outside the council chamber.
Carole Moseley, finance assistant for the social services was one of the pirates.
"We are a very busy team, but we always make an effort to support Children in Need.
"We had a fun day dressing up as pirates and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves while raising money for the charity," she said.
