SPIRIT of the Horse is a fantastic spectacle performed by 30 beautiful horses: Arabians, Andalusians, Lusitanos.
Here under the stars painted on the big top, there is a sense of magic and occasion, especially in the opening scenes.
The show is an appreciation of the horse in all its majesty, more theatre than circus, with influences from Spain, South America and Russia.
There is an amalgamation of colour, dance and music and a chance to see horses you may have only seen in films, with an inspiring level of horsemanship.
You will marvel at the Cossack riders as they thunder past you and children will love Silver, a six-year-old Connemara and his owner Texas Ollie. Silver performs tricks and shows a real sense of Irish humour.
After the show, there is the chance to see the horses and ask the performers questions.
The next chance to see Spirit of the Horse is this week from today until Sunday, November 30 at Shrewsbury Agricultural Ground. The tickets cost from £16 to £32 for adults and £12 to £24 for children. Log onto www.equestriantheatre.co.uk for more information. EN.
