VOLUNTEER CENTRE: Pershore Volunteer Centre is holding a tabletop sale on Saturday, at St Wulstan's Hall, Priest Lane, between 10am and noon.
Entrance is 30p and there will be a variety of goods on sale including antique linen, cakes and home produce and general goods.
COFFEE MORNING: Coffee morning in aid of children of El Salvador, in the Town Hall, Pershore, on Saturday, December 6, 10am-12.30pm. Entrance is free.
CHARITY AUCTION: Tomorrow Pershore Rotary Club is holding a charity auction in aid of Rotary charities. The auction, which will take place at Pershore High School beginning at 6pm prompt, viewing commencing at 4.30pm on the day.

HERITAGE AND HISTORY SOCIETY: The next meeting will take place as usual on the first Thursday in the month, December 4.. The speaker will be Mr. Ron Jaynes showing a selection of slides on old Pershore and the surrounding villages. Visitors welcome £1. Please note there will be no January meeting.
ARTHRITIS RESEARCH COUNCIL: Pershore branch is holding its Christmas Fair at Almonry Close, Abbey Road, on Saturday, December 6, between 10am and noon. There will be many stalls - an ideal chance for Christmas shopping, also bring and buy, raffle, tombola, live music and carols. Entry is free with coffee/tea and mince pies available at the door for 50p.

ARTS THEATRE CLUB: At the meeting held on November 21 Josephine Organ gave a demonstration of Chinese brush painting, which gave the members some insight into the way the Chinese see the art of painting. She also told those present some of the incidents which had occurred while she was studying brush painting in Beijing.
On December 11 members will go to see Beauty and the Beast at the Hippodrome in Birmingham and a visit to Birmingham Repertory Theatre to see The Wizard of Oz has been arranged for January 14.
The next evening meeting will take place at Pershore Town Hall on Friday, December 5, at 7.30pm when Peter Ridley will give a talk on The Clock Shop in Pershore. Visitors and prospective new members are always welcome. Contact Ann Buckley on 01386 860014 for further details.
ALLOTMENT ASSOCIATION: Social and skittles evening was a success with Dave Goodard and Shirley taking the skittle prizes, £5 each to be spent at the shop.
Thanks went to Pershore Old Comrades and Working Men's Club for entertaining them.
