SWIMMING: Todd Cooper picked up a double gold at the British Universities Sports Association Short Course Swimming Championships.
National champion Cooper, 20, swam to excellent victories in Weston-super-Mare in the 50m and 100m butterfly finals, clocking 24.71 seconds and 53.87 respectively.
The Stirling University student, who is from Kidderminster, added a silver in the 100m freestyle with a 50.57 time behind winner Chris Cozens.
Cooper's team finished second on 135 points in the men's event with Loughborough crowned champions.
He competes in the European Short Course Championships in Dublin on December 11.
