A THREE-match unbeaten run was brought to an end as Kidderminster Harriers Ladies missed skipper and prolific goal-scorer Julie Freeman.
Harriers lost 4-3 against mid-table Walsall in the West Midlands League Premier Division after fighting back from being three goals down.
They started well and Vicky Roberts fired just wide of the up-right in the fourth minute.
But Walsall opened their account two minutes later when L Perry slotted the ball past keeper Rachel Baldwin from 12 yards.
H Walers headed in at the back post to put Walsall two ahead on 22 minutes.
Louise Holmes reduced the deficit when she curled a free-kick from 20 yards into the bottom left-hand corner in the 32nd minute.
But G Moss gave Walsall their third goal before half-time with a powerful 10-yard shot into the net.
In the second half, they added a fourth in the 55th minute through J Clayton who caught Baldwin off her line from 17 yards.
Harriers did fight back with Sam Rogers finishing off a surging run by beating the keeper at her near post on 79 minutes.
Three minutes later, Lynsey Pollard rose above the Walsall defence to head home the third goal from Rogers' corner.
Harriers pushed hard for the equaliser but ran out of time.
The players are asked to meet at Aggborough at 11.45am for Sunday's game at Cosford.
