THREE second-half tries denied Kidderminster Carolians seconds victory at Kings Norton who eventually salvaged a 22-17 success.
KCs led 10-5 at half-time, despite debatable decisions by the referee, and went ahead through winger Billy Chiverton's try.
Matt Woodward converted and increased the lead with a penalty after Norton hit back with a try.
The visitors, with scrum-half Matt Vaughan in impressive form, started the second period in great style with a try from Andy Webber and Woodward's conversion.
But Norton retaliated with three efforts and a conversion to keep them ahead until the final whistle.
KCs' firsts host Shrewsbury in Midlands Three West (North) on Saturday.
Fixtures, Saturday: KCs 1sts v Shrewsbury, Stourport v 3rds (2.30pm).
