MAN-of-the-match Damian Samways ran in two tries as Kidderminster Carolians U-11s A team defeated Old Halesonians 24-7.
George Tildesley and Sam Taylor also crossed the line in another good display, while star man Archie Jones scored two tries in a 12-12 draw for the B side.
KCs U-12s put on an excellent display against strong Old Halesonians and only lost 7-0 to a first-half try.
Their forwards were on top with Ewan Thompson, Scott Mundie, Edmund Harrison and Daniel Colley all excellent.
It was a good display with plenty of positive points to take KCs forward for a big game with Worcester the weekend after next.
