WORCESTER City manager John Barton will put his players on the spot tonight over penalties.
Recent misses have sparked the St George's Lane boss into reviewing who should take the next one.
Mark Owen missed against Weston on Saturday while Darren Middleton blazed wildly over at Chippenham Town last month.
One alternative could be Leon Kelly who was successful from the spot on five occasions for Ilkeston Town last season.
Barton was playing his cards close to his chest but said it was important to sort it out.
"Both Darren and Mark wanted to take the penalty on Saturday," said Barton. "It is something we will discuss at training tonight but I've got a couple of alternatives to those two but we'll have to talk about it.
"We have to look it because both Darren and Mark have missed from the spot this season. I don't think we've had a glut of penalties for a couple of seasons but when they come you have to make them count."
Barton is no stranger to the art of penalty taking. "I used to take penalties at Kidderminster but missed a few and Kim Casey took over," added Barton.
