A BAND formed by members of Evesham's popular Brick-Kiln Street band, who split up two years ago, will play their first gig in Chipping Campden.
Boogie Street, made up of former members Nick Gunnell, Duncan Brotherton and Nick Lewis with a new guitarist and singer, play soul music with a kick.
Brick-Kiln Street built up a huge following in Evesham during their 15 years but played their last gig on Christmas Eve in 2001 when their lead singer became too ill to carry on.
Boogie Street are hoping to carry on their reputation, playing music like Mustang Sally, occasionally venturing into pop with numbers by Blondie and The Eurythmics but keeping their rock edge. The gig at the Royal British Legion club in Chipping Campden starts at 9pm.
